Attractive outdoor fountain July 23, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This fountain is very attractive with graceful lines. The AC adaptor is a nice addition to the solar panel, so you can choose intermittent or continuous running. A very good buy at the price.
A pleasant additin to a small garden area June 13, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This product is well made and works quite well in bright sun.. The only negative thing I can say is that it runs intermitantly on cloudy says ... Over the first 2 months it has presented no reliability problems ...it is attractve and produces the lovely sound of falling water that adds so much to any garden area.. I intend to attempt to construct some type of battery power supply that will allow the unit to run on not so bright days.
I wish I could recommend it, but it doesn't last. June 13, 2007 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
Bought my solar fountain one year ago. The pump has had intemittent problems the whole time, and this morning, when I went to unplug it from the solar panel, the plug broke. It looks really pretty, but having the pump replaced under warranty two times was a hassle.
solar fountain June 9, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This product is very nice, but much smaller than I anticipated. It works great on solar power, and when a cloud goes over the sun, it stops. It doesn't seem to store any solar power as other solar panel items seem to do
If I was a bird..... July 26, 2006 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
I wanted a fountain that worked with little or no effort--it sets up easily--and it began working immediately--but it's performance has been off and on. It seems to clog easily and I'm constantly having to clean the pump hose to make it work. The solar power is great when the sun is out but it doesn't store any energy so, no sun--no fountain. It's not expensive so I shouldn't have expected too much--but somehow, I thought it would be a bit more dependable and a little less work to keep it flowing every day.
