 Beautiful peaceful floating cloud of cool mist - heaven! August 1, 2008
I was skeptical to purchase this item since I had ordered an outdoor fountain from them and they would not answer my email requests for tech support (amazon came to the rescue and I returned it, no problemo)
I bought this item in blue (which is unfortunately now unavailable) This fountain is like nothing I had ever seen! When you first take it out of the box, you will think it looks kind of strange, like a mini space ship. The instructions are really bad...it says you should screw in the wooden balls (none in the box at all but there are crystal looking balls already attached to the bowl) and the pictures are impossible to figure out so you'll have to be patient, read the instructions as carefully as possible and try to guess what they mean (the other fountain had really bad instructions as well). But if you take your time, you will be rewarded!
Our fountain sits on a table outside in the evenings (packed away at night to prevent weather damage), the mist floating over the sides as a fan blows the cool mist around our gazebo...HEAVEN! There are various colored lights inside that allow you to have red, blue or white lighting under the large amount of cool mist floating over the edge. If you are buying this to hear the sound of a fountain, you may be disappointed as the water sound is minimal...but its there and its soothing. The mist is just beautiful.
I will write again if there are any technical issues or the pump wears out but for now, this is a gorgeous effect for a fair priced product (I paid under $25 and amazon had free shipping)

this mistfountain is awesome. it was in my price range yet has all the features of the more expensive ones i had researched. i love the remote. everyone i show it to wants one.

This fountain has a small electronic device that vibrates the water to emit a fine mist. The mist foams magically out of the fountain and also serves to humidify the room. The frosted white and lights go with any decor. This is hypnotic in a room and very soothing.
