Product Description
The most important thing is that you keep your pond aerated, even if you must use a regular, non-solar pond aerator. Oxygen is needed in your pond for the fish, plants, and beneficial bacteria. Of course, if you care so much about your fish and plants, it only make sense that you would also care about the environment, and a solar pond aerator uses only energy from the sun, and therefore causes no additional harm to the environment. They are also good because: Solar pond aerators can be used in remote locations, far from an electrical outlet. Once you have your solar pond aerator set up, you will not have to pay for the energy needed to run it. As long as they are placed where they can receive plenty of sunlight, these aerators will work just as well as other aerators. Although sometimes more expensive at first, you can often save money in the long run.Our aerator solar panels activate the pump automatically. All our Solar Bubbler Pump Kits come complete with 12V DC submersible bubblers, anchoring attachments, 16 feet of air tubing and a 0.5 amp, 18 V solar panel. Unit requires a standard 12 volt car battery (not included). The battery allows the unit to run continuously for up to 3 weeks of cloudy days (rainy days provide more oxygen/mixing than several aerators) and indefinitely through the evenings on sunny days. Solar powered aerator for ornanmental ponds has been designed to provide nearly continuous aeration for ornamental fisheries and koi pond applications. The kit contains one highly efficient brushless 12VDC (compressor that draws a maximum of 0.5 amps, while delivering up to two liters per minute) via one efficient air diffuser to your ponds bottom. The pump is designed for ponds with water depths no greater than 6 feet. For deeper ponds use our diffuser float. Our bubbler system will operate in the coldest or hottest climates and.... The aerator system works well in my fish pond in Pottstown, PA. If I ever need another aeration system, it will be one from Pennington Equipment Company.
