5 out of 5 stars great tasting water!   August 24, 2008
so i just got this and im a college student. Living in the dorms, I use regular tap water and it tastes great with this filter!! its a large capacity so i don't have to fill it as much as with a pitcher!! so far so good!

5 out of 5 stars Worth the money and effort   August 22, 2008

I used bottle water for years for drinking because the water in my area tastes horrible. I then had a child and became "more eco aware" knowing that I was effecting her future on this planet. I decided to cut back wherever possible. This was one of the best cut backs I made. The water tastes just as good as bottled, I'm saving about $20 per month by not buying bottled water, and I'm reducing my "landfill footprint". Oh, and by the way, I've used the Brita products and PUR is MUCH better. Great product.

5 out of 5 stars Second water filter system   August 21, 2008

I bought this after moving out and forgetting my old Brita water pitcher. The Brita would require a lot of refilling and I drank a lot of water, so I just left it by the sink.

This found a nice spot in the fridge and now I can enjoy clean water that's also cold. I only have to refill it every 2-3 days. I need to find a habit of refilling it before it gets empty though.

Water tastes great and is super convenient compared to the Brita. I have only cleaned it once and that was when I pulled it out of the box.

Read lot of reviews on amazon and finally bought this one. Came with good instructions and it filters the water very fast. The water did taste better!

5 out of 5 stars All I can say is WOW!!   August 10, 2008

This water dispenser has been a life and money saver. We have hard municipal well water that smells like chlorine and has a yellow tinge of color to it. I would never drink straight tap water, only tap water mixed with an iced tea mix or something. I used to get up at night and have pop or juice.

I wanted to start drinking more water. When I went to Washington D.C. in July, it was so hot, I got hooked on bottled drinking water. When I realized how many bottles I was buying and how bad the plastic is for the environment, I said that when I get home I will research some type of water filter for the home.

I got a good deal on this pitcher at Amazon. I'm really happy I have fresh, healthy, cold, odorless water to drink. I use the water for cooking, coffee, for the pets, and for the houseplants. What a HUGE difference from tap water.
